
Special Invitation
The Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) through the William Cecil Golden/DELTA initiative is providing three Florida Assistant Principal Leadership Forums this fall. The Council for Educational Change will conduct the Forums. The Forums will provide specific process skills, content, and context for professional learning within a three day forum. All training and support is aligned with the Florida Leadership Standards. Scholarships will cover all expenses except for travel and lodging (if the participant chooses to stay at the site, rather than commute).
- September 20-22, at the Embassy Suites—USF, Tampa
- October 3-5, at the Embassy Suites, Ft. Lauderdale
- October 25-27, at the Embassy Suites, Jacksonville
The Council has considerable experience delivering a wide range of professional development activities including a variety of other Assistant Principal Leadership Forums, the National Assistant Principal Leadership Academy, the statewide Florida Leadership Academy (annually), and the annual Miami-Dade school district’s Instructional Leadership Academy. All have received high marks from evaluators and participants.
